The White Lion is an independent Free House in the village of Toft Monks, Norfolk, England and has been operated by the current landlord for the past 3 years. Since he took over The White Lion, the landlord has worked hard to build up its reputation. The result is a friendly and accommodating Norfolk pub.
Recently Refurbished
The bar area has been refurbished with light wood flooring and leather seating. The original wooden timbers in the ceiling remain as a feature and help to link the traditional with the contemporary.
The result is a cosy yet modern pub that is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or simply to relax with friends.
Traditional Cask Ales and fine wines
The landlord together with his friendly and hard working staff offer traditional hand-pulled Cask Ales and a large selection of fine wines.
The White Lion has recently been awarded 100% by the Cask Marque Trust in recognition of excellence in the service of its Cask Ale.
Available for hire
The White Lion can be hired for parties and private bookings.
We also specialise in providing an outside bar in village halls for licensed community events and can provide a bar for marquee weddings
(subject to an appropriate licence agreement).

Additionally, The White Lion is a member of the BII – an organisation that promotes excellent standards of service throughout all its members.
Television & Sky Sports
For those who enjoy watching football, rugby and cricket, many of the weekend’s sports fixtures can be viewed live via Sky Sports on two large screens in the bar area.
Free Newspapers & Wireless Internet Access
The White Lion has a wide selection of national and local newspapers to browse though and there is also access to the internet via the free Wi-Fi available.
Family Friendly
Families and well behaved dogs are also welcome.
